So, we developed a QR code-based board game. The game was inspired by the board game Candy Land, the technology of QR codes, and the Crazy world we live in. Mash them altogether and you get QRazy Land. Honestly, the game was pretty awesome if I do say so myself! However, it became apparent
we were not going to be able to bring the game to its full potential under that model. The overall expenses of hosting our video platform simply were not sustainable. Also, the expenses of adding the gameboard, card packs and game pieces were going to bring the price point higher than we want to ask our fellow players to pay. On top of that, the prior model required scanning QR code links 20+ times to play a game. Let's face it, I am leery to click any link unless I fully TRUST it...not alone 20+ links...and frankly you should too. So Trust became an issue in that model of QRazy Land.

So, 'you win some and lose some' as they say and we went back to the drawing board. We rebooted the game to be a Game SHOW experience, removed some of the board game elements but left some of the board game 'feels' intact. We migrated from our AWS hosted video platform to YouTube and...

QRazy Land...the 'Bored' Game Show...was born!
